Tea Packaging

Tuliplanet Gifts, designed by Leung MukChi, is a tea packaging design that combines Oriental aesthetics, Chinese traditional culture, and the concept of connecting with nature through tea. The design draws inspiration from the founder's zodiac sign, the tiger, known as the "king of beasts." The logo features a tulip held in the mouth of a tiger, symbolizing the idea of "in me the tiger sniffs the rose." This concept is extended to the gift box design, creating a unique and meaningful visual representation.

The design of Tuliplanet Gifts stands out with its incorporation of key elements such as cranes, auspicious clouds, and tea gardens. These elements not only add visual appeal but also convey the theme of finding a connection between the materialistic world and the spiritual realm through the act of drinking tea. The design aims to remind people that despite living in a fast-paced and materialistic era, they can still find solace and a sense of harmony with nature through the simple pleasure of tea.

Completed in Guangzhou on August 27th, 2021, Tuliplanet Gifts showcases the rich cultural heritage of Chinese tea traditions and the art of gift-giving. It embraces the teachings of Lu Yu's Cha Jing, the classic book on tea, and incorporates tea etiquette and symbolism associated with the Chinese year of the tiger and the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Tuliplanet Gifts has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2023.
